Nope.
An old-school managed and pedestrian-friendly traffic control system, ensuring that vehicles know where they can, and can’t park, and ensuring that pedestrians don’t have to run the gauntlet of vehicles everywhere?
That was, of course, the old regime in the High Street. Now, it’s a free-for-all.
Presumably the clue lies in the google copyright banners on both photos. Might it relate to a google search find?

Interesting. Camberley is much more multi-cultural than used to be the case.
