Notices have appeared on the former Bensons for Beds shop. It’s been a disgrace for a long time, so full marks to the council for taking action.
I find it somewhat ironic that the council have time to enforce a justified dilapidation notice on a retail property in the high street when the majority of our misfits and wasters employed by the council are still idling about at home, enjoying full pay at our expense.
Sadly, a third rate service and laid back approach to serving the community will remain the norm when this covid insanity and ignorance ends.
I suggest they take the building down, the Benson corner and ex Allders block. Level the two areas, leave open and cover with Grass.
I saw some people wearing skullcaps in there not so long ago.
