Yesterday we reported that the clock on Main Square car park hasn’t moved for weeks. We guessed that we knew why. But the penny took a remarkably long time to drop. (We’ve been concentrating on social distancing and on following the arrows on the floor in the mall.)
The pay machines on the ground floor (yes, that’s Level 1) were moved a while ago. We bet that the power was switched off/disconnected to allow that to happen. And the power has not been switched back on. The switch is probably behind that shutter next to the yellow barriers. Here are the two machines in their ‘new’ positions.
Please, borough council, can we have the correct time back? (Or do we have to resort to the FOI Act again??)
