Kings Court

A while ago, we suggested that work to convert Kings Court – the office block next to the level crossing – into flats had ground to a halt.

But a few weeks ago we were tempted to report otherwise.  There was clearly some activity underway on the site.  However, since then everything seems to have come to a halt again.  When we waked past the building the other day, the entrance gates were closed.  We wonder what’s happening – or not happening.

  1. They’ve sold nearly all the flats in that building, with the promise that building work would be completed at the start of April for people to move in. I always thought that was nonsense! When I went to view in February, only 3 flats were half ready and being shown. People who have bought the flats have had to complete within a month of putting in their offers.
Looks like they’ve completely screwed these poor buyers over!

  2. Poor people, how awful for them and then of course there is the boarded up eyesore plot of land close by and owned by who? Not a single councillor can answer that question!
