We received the following good news a few days ago.  Apologies for only just posting it.  Our congratulations to all those involved – those who gave time, effort, facilities or money.

“Between December 6th and December 23rd 2016, the Camberley 41 Club Christmas Float has toured the streets of Camberley and Frimley and appeared at Longacres, Sainsbury’s Watchmoor Park, Waitrose at Frimley and Bagshot, and at Tesco’s and Marks and Spencer at The Meadows.

“Thousands of local children have been thrilled and excited to see and chat with Santa. Their parents and many, many more adults have generously contributed to our collection and in total over £8000 has been raised for four local charities. In equal share, the recipients of this money will be Looking Ahead, Surrey Young Carers, Parity for Disability and HEART (Harry and Edwards Aspiration Raising Trust). THANK YOU to all the stores for hosting us, and THANK YOU to everyone in the Surrey Heath Community who gave a donation.”
