And this is where the Clarks advertisement is

Earlier today we showed a doorway with an old advertisement for Clark’s shoes.  It was something that we’d not noticed before.  For anyone who couldn’t place the advertisement, it’s in the entrance to the dry cleaners on the A30 service road.

  1. I like that sign, it’s evidence of the quality in the original workmanship when you consider how many times it has been trodden on. To my mind, the most interesting “ghost sign” in Camberley is just a few doors away, but I’ve never managed to get a photo of it that really pleases me – the best view of it is from the Google street view car…,-0.7465959,3a,20.6y,198.48h,102.27t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sJ-kLSK6udJsxm6ElOqSGkw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

    • I know about your ‘ghost’ sign Paul, though I’ve not looked at it lately. It looks like the same style as the painter/decorator supplier advertisement a bit further down the road.
