We spotted this advertising leaflet in the noticeboard outside the council offices the other day. Feeling very smug, we thought we’d dream up a clever title for this quick item. We were somewhat deflated to learn – from an impecable source – that the name ‘Just Desserts’ had already been considered, and rejected, for the event itself. Collapse of smug Eye!
Three puddings for £8.00 can’t be bad. See you there! (Anyone for seconds?)

It’s a fundraising event on behalf of the Mayor’s Charities so the more the merrier but you do need to buy a ticket from Hazel Bradbury to be sure of your helpings.
