A sign of change

Regular readers will know of our obsession with silly signs.  The ones that are of no help to anyone – but which cost the tax-payer to make and install.

One of our more recent sign-spottings was the one on level 3A of Main Square car park.  The sign that advised pedestrians to use the stairs in the wet – even though there ARE no stairs!

Well, it would appear that our post about this sign has been read and noted.  Some yellow tape has been applied to the offending advice.  A cheap but effective solution.  Excellent!

    • Well, yes. On the other hand the council did take action – which is good. And it came up with a cheap solution – which is good for us tax-payers. The question is really whether the sticky tape will stay stuck!
