Barriers to progress

In case you haven’t seen it already, this is the re-located entry barrier to the Atrium car park.  There was a considerable queue there waiting to get in last night;  restaurants looked full (do we need more?), and Zizzi seemed open for business after its recent makeover.

  1. The moving of the car park barrier is causing severe traffic back log onto the A30. Seriously did they really need moving?

    • Nicki, I’ve yet to see any explanation for why the change was made. But of course, it means that there’s just one barrier to handle everything, rather than two.

  2. Hi Nicki,

We apologise for the misunderstanding. The barrier placed at the bottom of the ramp is only temporary while we change the location of the exit barriers at the top of the ramp, and enlarge the entrance lanes. These works are part of car park improvement works to enhance our visitors experience at The Atrium.

    Thanks,
    The Atrium
