Fairweather golf

A while ago we mentioned that an application had been submitted to use the empty corner ground floor unit in the Premier Inn building at the top of Park Street for ‘indoor leisure’.  One of our readers kindly pointed out that the application included an indoor putting ‘green’.

Well, we now know that the application is on behalf of a company called Fairweather.  If you look VERY carefully at this drawing of the side of the hotel, you’ll see ‘Fairweather Golf’ on the building.  No doubt this name will appear instead of ‘SIGNAGE’ above the shop windows when the premises are finally occupied.
