The rain yesterday was, indeed, quite exceptional. As were the puddles in Camberley’s High Street.
Two thoughts occurred to us. i) If the pavements were less uneven, there would be less opportunity for water to collect on them. That, presumably, is the responsibility of the county council. ii) The borough council has been promising for about sixteen years to improve the pedestrian environment in the High Street. Has it – like yesterday’s pedestrians – got wet feet?
