Has Subway gone under?

The Subway restaurant in the High Street entrance to Camberley’s Mall looks depressingly closed.  There’s a notice stuck on the door that probably says it all.

  1. Another depressing note for Camberley high street/town centre. The council needs to be get off its behind and start doing something. I wrote

  2. walked past it the other day, empty but not helped by its location surrounded by the dirty horrible and crumbling state of properties and frontages on both sides of this road as it runs through Camberley.. this as much as anything epitomizes the uselessness of the SHBC councilors who DO NOTHING to help the town or prepare it for the future

  3. So agree with Steve and Emil. Camberley just gets worse.. Also lifts often not working.. Horrible smells and polythene and scaffolding all over the town and the empty derelict sites and buildings not maintained at all . Replies needed from from SHBC PLEASE!

    • Sadly, our council lacks the human touch and keeps very much at arm’s length. Years ago I learned that it’s better to over-communicate than under-communicate, but the council hasn’t learned the lesson yet.
